JOB SUMMARY
Assist in creating technical plans and blueprints for current and potential Credit Union locations, including site developmental plans and building floor plans. Coordinate with Facilities & Maintenance staff on facilities updates, renovations, and installations and digitizing facility support documentation and designs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design site development plans and building floor plans using Autodesk AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
Assist in facility design development process with ability to translate concepts and sketches into technical documentation.
Modify existing designs based on feedback, project needs and potential renovations.
Accurately present models and technical layouts of current and future Credit Union facilities.
Maintain plan room documents and digital catalogue of blueprints and support documentation.
Assist with coordinating construction and remodeling of buildings with contractors, architects, and Credit Union staff.
Keep abreast of newer techniques in drafting and learning drafting functions in other CAD applications.
Update floor plans, seating charts and branch construction documents as needed.
Work with Facilities Coordinator on evaluating bids for related Credit Union needs from contractors and vendors, as needed.
Assist with managing and recommending purchase of equipment and supplies based on technical blueprints.
Work on special projects assigned by Support Services Director.
Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior and performance).
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work cooperatively with others.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience - Associate's degree or certificate in architectural design, civil engineering, construction engineering, or similar field preferred. One to two years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications and Requirements - Individual must possess the knowledge, skills and ability required to execute the essential functions in a satisfactory manner.
