Zero Waste Solutions, Inc. is seeking front end drivers to operate refuse trucks, collect and dump trash receptacles, and manage routes schedules in Arlington, VA

Benefits:

         $5,000 bonus pay upon hire

         Pay Rate: $22 - $35 an hour dependent on candidate experience

Responsibilities:

  • Collects trash, recycle, and bulk items from residential and commercial accounts, and disposes at appropriate locations/landfills.
  • Makes minor adjustments to and assists in cleaning or servicing of equipment used.
  • Conducts routine safety and maintenance checks of equipment before leaving the yard and at the end of the day.
  • Maintains records of work performed and submits reports to Project Manager.
  • Performs other essential duties as required to achieve successful operations of the ISWM Program.
  • Observes proper safety, and DOT regulations in the field.
  • Performs physical labor and any other duty that is required.
  • Maintains and inspects vehicles and equipment daily.
  • Maintains daily vehicle, and route related records. Reports accidents and incidents to the supervisor.

Requirements:

         2 years of minimum experience -Heavy Truck driving, equipment operation, waste management.

         Class B CDL State driver's license with the insurable record, DOT Health Card, and Pass DOT Drug Screen.

         Ability to obtain security background clearance

         COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate
