Job description

POSITION: Adult Special Education Teacher
CLOSING DATE: Position for 2026-2027 school year. For best consideration apply within one week of posting.
DAYS: Currently 190.00 Contract Daysย 
SALARY SCHEDULE: Placement on the District teacher salary schedule based on education and experience. Salary schedule located on www.sd25.us .
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:ย 
Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain an Idaho Education Credential endorsed in area of application.
The candidate needs a current Idaho Certification. Familiarity with the ICS and how that drives curriculum in the classroom is required. Knowledge of implementing Differentiated Instruction is essential. A strong work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative setting with stakeholders, community, staff, students, parents, and administration is a must. The candidate must provide evidence of strong classroom skills and student behavior management as well as a desire to meet the academic and behavior needs of all students. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work creatively with others. The candidate must love working with children.
