Position Description

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications deployed in AWS cloud environments. Build and integrate frontend user interfaces with backend services and APIs. Contribute to system architecture and technical design for cloud-native AWS solutions. Enhance and modernize existing applications while developing new capabilities aligned with mission needs. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the stack, including AWS-hosted services. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders within Agile development teams. Integrate AWS services to improve scalability, availability, and system performance. Support GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including automated builds, testing, and deployments. Develop and maintain containerized applications, including building and maintaining Docker containers. Contribute to and support Spring Boot and Tomcat-based applications. Ensure compliance with secure software development practices and federal security standards. Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud-based systems. Adapt quickly to changing requirements in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of 8 years' relevant experience
  • This position requires the candidate to possess a minimum of Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
  • Experience developing full-stack applications in AWS cloud environments
  • Proficiency with frontend technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or similar frameworks
  • Backend development experience using Java, Python, Node.js
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Containerized Applications and docker-based workflows
  • Working knowledge of AWS services, such as:
    • Compute (EKS, Lambda)
    • Storage (S3)
    • Databases (PostgreSQL)
    • Monitoring and logging (CloudWatch)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and development in classified or regulated environments
Qualifications Desired
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across application and cloud environments
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within Agile and DevSecOps teams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation
