Job description

We are seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our North Andover, MA location!
Specialty Rx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. Specialty Rx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.
HOURS:  Evening; 3:00pm-11:00pm  (Mon-Friday and every other weekend)
Data Entry Pharmacy Technician-Responsibilities:
  • Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
  • Generate labels for dispensing.
  • Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
  • Clarify orders as needed.
  • Triage incoming faxes.

Data Entry Pharmacy Technician- Requirements:
  • Previous experience in pharmacy desire.
  • Knowledge of brand names and generic medications.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Must be multi-tasking and reliable.
  • Knowledge of SIG-Codes.
  • Quick typing skills.
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS.
