FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support ERP data entry and administrative data maintenance within a food manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire role is responsible for accurately entering, updating, verifying, reconciling, and maintaining data within an ERP system to support smooth operations, reporting, inventory, production, finance, and compliance needs. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry experience, Microsoft Dynamics or ERP experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Entering and maintaining accurate data in the ERP system
  • Supporting Microsoft Dynamics data entry and maintenance as needed
  • Verifying and reconciling data to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Generating and reviewing reports for internal teams and management
  • Collaborating with production, inventory, and finance departments to ensure timely data updates
  • Identifying and resolving data discrepancies promptly
  • Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of company data
  • Supporting inventory management and production data entry activities
  • Reviewing data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards
  • Preparing and updating spreadsheets, reports, and records using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Communicating with internal departments to confirm data details and resolve questions
  • Supporting smooth operational workflow through timely and accurate data entry
  • Performing other duties as assigned

The selected candidate will also possess:

  • 3+ years of data entry experience required
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
  • ERP experience required
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Associate degree required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with inventory management and production data entry preferred
  • Knowledge of food industry compliance and regulatory requirements preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle company data with integrity
  • Ability to work onsite in Salinas, CA
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while entering, verifying, reconciling, and reviewing data
  • Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
  • Ability to review detailed ERP data, reports, spreadsheets, inventory records, production data, compliance information, and computer screens for extended periods
