Assembly Technician

Waltham MA

Needs to have worked on sub-assemblies and used hands on tools for systems that detect cells at a micron level

Strong communication skills required and be able to wear multiple hats

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED required; technical school certificate or associate degree preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or assembly environment, preferably in medical device or regulated manufacturing.

- Demonstrated ability to read and understand assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small components under a microscope.

- Good manual dexterity, organizational skills, and a strong work ethic.

- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in cleanroom or ESD-controlled environments.

- Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 13485, FDA regulations).

- Experience assembling electro-optical systems or devices with precision optics.
