What You Will Be Doing This position is a full-proficiency, professional level position in which you will analyze, summarize, and report financial data, maintain internal controls, and provide financial oversight and control of accounting functions.
You will use your knowledge to resolve accounting issues and provide direction in the practical application of DRB's procedures and techniques for the benefit of our clients. In this job you will learn the principles of fund accounting along with learning to complete quarterly and annual financial statements. These accounting functions will help build on skills that can be used for future job promotions.

The Division of Retirement and Benefits continues to support the needs of retirees while providing customer services to active members. The mission of the Finance section/Accounting unit is to provide timely and accurate financial reporting for the plans administered by the division. The Working Environment You Can Expect This position is located on the 6th floor of the State Office Building in beautiful downtown Juneau.
