Job description

Colorado (Denver Area Preferred)
$200,000+ Base + Bonus + Profit Sharing
Travel Required
A successful entrepreneur is building a portfolio of businesses following a major exit and is seeking a Portfolio COO to help lead what comes next.
This is not a traditional corporate role.
You'll work directly with the founder, helping drive operations, strategy, and growth across multiple companies and industries.
No two days will look the same. One week you may be solving challenges inside an operating company. The next, traveling to meet business leaders, evaluating opportunities, or helping shape what gets built next.
Requirements

  • Experience with private equity, holding companies, acquisitions, or scaling businesses strongly preferred
  • Executive leadership experience with the ability to influence across multiple organizations
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments
  • Strategic thinker who is also willing to roll up their sleeves and execute
  • Proven experience leading teams and delivering results
  • Curious, adaptable, and highly accountable
  • Builder mentality with a passion for creating and growing organizations, not simply maintaining them
  • Willingness to travel as required
Compensation & Opportunity
Beyond a highly competitive compensation package, bonus potential, and profit sharing, this role offers something rare: access.
You'll work directly alongside a proven founder, build relationships with influential business leaders, gain exposure to new ventures and investments, and help shape the future of a growing enterprise.
This is an opportunity to help build something meaningful alongside an accomplished entrepreneur. For the right person, the upside extends well beyond the job description.
Colorado-based candidates preferred. Denver-area candidates are ideal.
