POSITION SUMMARYย

The Associate Licensing Manager provides support for licensing initiatives related to core gaming IPs in the Americas and select international markets.ย Responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day account activities, supporting licensing agreements, tracking budgets and targets, andย assistingย with partner compliance. This role also helpsย facilitateย communication with licensors and affiliates and contributes toย maintainingย brand consistency for Bandai Namco's various IPs.ย

ESSENTIALย DUTIESย ANDย RESPONSIBILITIESย 

  • Support the management of licensee deals throughout their lifecycle, including tracking contractual compliance, coordinating launches, and monitoring performance.ย 
  • Collaborate with Licensing leadership to support departmentalย objectivesย and contribute to revenue goals.ย 
  • Monitor industry trends and gaming market activity to helpย identifyย potential business opportunities.ย 
  • Assistย in analyzing licensee performance through sales tracking, forecasts, and basic competitive analysisย toย share observations with leadership.ย 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and international partners, including participation in regular approval and alignment meetings.ย 
  • Support sales planning byย consolidatingย projections andย assistingย with validation of quarterly results.ย 
  • Contribute to licensee recruitment efforts, includingย participating inย research, idea generation, and market analysis.ย 
  • Assistย in the development of brand style guides in collaboration with internal teams and licensors.ย 
  • Partner with the eCommerce team to support promotional planning across Bandai Namco stores and key retail partners.ย 
  • Support outreach to potential licensees andย assistย in preparing presentations, sales materials, andย ad-hocย reports/requests.ย ย 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.ย 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or relatedย field or equivalent work experienceย 
  • 3+ years of experience in licensing or related industry experienceย 
  • Strongย proficiencyย in reviewing licensing contracts and fluency in negotiating key business termsย 
  • Proficientย written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including experience developing clear and effective presentation decks.ย 
  • Strong teamwork skills,ย experienced withย collaborating with other stakeholders.ย 
  • Ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.ย 

SALARY RANGE

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00

Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
