Job description


  • Operations & Service Leadership

  • Supervise and direct the day-to-day operations of casino bars, lounges, beverage stations, and assigned beverage venues.

  • Maintain exceptional guest service standards and ensure all team members deliver a world-class guest experience.

  • Lead by example through active floor presence, coaching, and hands-on support during peak business periods.

  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate operational priorities, promotions, service expectations, and guest service initiatives.

  • Monitor beverage quality, presentation standards, cleanliness, and service consistency throughout all beverage outlets.

  • Resolve guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery situations in a timely and professional manner.

  • Ensure compliance with all responsible alcohol service laws and company policies.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Supervise, coach, develop, and motivate bartenders, beverage servers, and support staff.

  • Create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.

  • Train team members on beverage preparation, service standards, product knowledge, upselling techniques, and responsible alcohol service.

  • Conduct performance discussions, recognition programs, corrective actions, and ongoing coaching as necessary.

  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and retention of beverage team members.

Beverage Program & Inventory Management

  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with variance investigations and corrective actions.

  • Control beverage costs through proper portioning, waste reduction, and inventory management practices.

  • Ensure all products are rotated, stored, and handled according to company and regulatory standards.

  • Partner with vendors and suppliers to support promotions, product launches, tastings, and team education opportunities.

Financial Accountability
  • Monitor labor utilization and productivity to maintain budgeted staffing levels.

  • Assist in preparing schedules that support business demands while controlling labor costs.

  • Monitor beverage sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.

  • Support promotional programs, contests, and upselling initiatives designed to increase beverage sales.

  • Ensure proper cash handling, cash accountability, POS procedures, and transactional accuracy.

Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, alcohol beverage licensing requirements, health department regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain a safe working environment for guests and team members.

  • Ensure all incidents, guest concerns, and operational issues are documented and reported appropriately.

  • Verify team adherence to company safety procedures, sanitation standards, and emergency protocols.

  • Support audits and inspections as required by regulatory agencies and company standards.

Communication & Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with Food & Beverage leadership, Casino Operations, Security, Facilities, Marketing, and other departments.

  • Partner with culinary and restaurant leadership to ensure seamless guest experiences across all venues.

  • Assist other Food & Beverage operations as business needs require.

  • Provide operational updates, shift summaries, and performance feedback to leadership.

Operational Readiness
  • Conduct opening, shift, and closing inspections of beverage outlets.

  • Verify adequate inventory, equipment functionality, operating supplies, and staffing levels.

  • Ensure bars and service stations are fully stocked and prepared for business demands.

  • Monitor outlet appearance, cleanliness, organization, and overall operational readiness throughout each shift.

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum two (2) years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, casino, hotel, sports venue, or entertainment environment.

  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience in beverage operations.

  • Experience supervising and developing front-line team members.

  • Experience with inventory control, scheduling, labor management, and cash handling procedures.

  • Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

Preferred
  • Associate degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Previous casino, hotel, resort, or entertainment venue experience.

  • Beverage certifications such as ServSafe Alcohol, TIPS, BarSmarts, WSET, or equivalent.

  • Experience managing multiple beverage outlets in a high-volume operation.

  • Experience with beverage promotions, menu development, and vendor partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and current beverage trends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be capable of bending, reaching, stooping, and moving throughout beverage outlets.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with constant guest interaction.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Fast-paced 24-hour casino and entertainment environment.

  • Exposure to varying noise levels common within gaming and beverage operations.

  • Must be available to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
