Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.   • Maintain game security and integrity in designated area to ensure that they are conducted in a manner consistent with State Gaming Commission regulations and the policies and procedures of Ameristar Casino
  • Will have supervisory and hourly team member responsibilities in this role
  • Foster and maintain positive team member relations in a supportive environment and interfaces with other departments to ensure a harmonious working relationship
  • Monitor pit and gaming equipment to ensure proper working order and conditions and notify Casino Managers of needed repairs
  • Assists the guests in playing and ensure adherence to established rules, policies and procedures
  • Deals a combination of Blackjack, Carnival Games, and other specialty games such as Roulette and Craps
  • Recommend changes to operation procedures to enhance overall effectiveness

  • One to three years’ experience as a Dealer in lieu of high school diploma and/or College Degree
  • Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem solving and coaching skills
  • Ability to use diplomacy and tact to build constructive and effective relationships, including during high-tension situations
