Information Technology - Enterprise Administrator
Position Summary
The IT Enterprise Administrator provides administration, support, configuration, and optimization for enterprise software platforms used across SMC's operations.
This role works closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and end users to ensure enterprise systems remain available, secure, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
The position supports platform implementations, integrations, automation, system enhancements, and ongoing operational excellence.
Enterprise Administrator role sits between a traditional System Administrator and a Business Systems Analyst,
combining platform administration, workflow automation, configuration, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Platform Administration
  • Perform day-to-day administration of enterprise applications and platforms.
  • Manage approved configuration changes and system enhancements.
  • Monitor platform health, availability, and performance.
  • Support platform governance and administration standards.

Solution Implementation & Configuration
  • Participate in platform implementation activities including:
    • Requirements gathering
    • Solution design
    • Configuration
    • Testing
    • Integrations
    • Deployment support
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new platform capabilities.

Workflow Automation & Process Improvement
