Job description

Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support a major Los Angeles County initiative.
  • This role will focus on delivering complex enterprise technology projects involving enterprise applications, system integrations, and digital transformation.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing large-scale IT projects from planning through implementation, working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver successful business and technology outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead large, complex IT projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and deliverables.
  • Manage implementations of COTS/SaaS and enterprise applications, including ERP, workflow, case management, or similar platforms.
  • Lead system integration, API, data exchange, and application integration initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements while coordinating with business, technical, and vendor teams.
  • Manage stakeholders and cross-functional teams through enterprise transformation and technology implementation initiatives.
  • Apply Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and use project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

Required Qualifications:

  • PMP certification is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of IT Project Management experience.
  • 4+ years of experience leading large or complex IT projects.
  • Experience implementing COTS/SaaS or enterprise application solutions.
  • Experience managing system integrations, APIs, and/or data exchange projects.
  • Strong business process analysis, requirements gathering, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with ERP, case management, claims processing, workflow management, or other enterprise platforms.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or enterprise application modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
  • Experience working with government, healthcare, public-sector, or other large enterprise environments is a plus.
