Title System Administrator Level II Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description RiVidium Inc. is seeking a skilled System Administrator - Level II to provide advanced technical support, proactive system maintenance, and escalated troubleshooting across enterprise computing environments. This role is responsible for maintaining system stability, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring reliable performance of hardware, software, network, and system access services. The ideal candidate will actively monitor enterprise system performance, diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues, and implement effective corrective and preventive solutions to sustain operational continuity and improve overall system reliability. The System Administrator - Level II will collaborate closely with infrastructure teams, senior administrators, developers, and cybersecurity personnel to support secure and compliant enterprise operations. Key Responsibilities * Provide advanced user support and escalated technical troubleshooting across enterprise environments * Monitor system performance and proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues * Generate, manage, and track service requests and advanced incident tickets through resolution * Perform system maintenance activities, including: * Patching and updates * Configuration validation * Preventive maintenance actions * Security configuration management * Resolve hardware, software, network, and system access issues in a timely manner * Collaborate with senior administrators and engineering teams on infrastructure and modernization projects * Develop corrective and preventive solutions for recurring technical issues * Improve and maintain enterprise system security configurations in compliance with organizational standards * Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides * Communicate clearly with users regarding outages, planned maintenance, and service restoration activities * Track outage duration, service impacts, and operational trends to support continuous improvement initiatives * Support enterprise operations in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DoN) regulations, policies, and guidelinesMinimum Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance required at contract start Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience operating computer systems in enterprise environments Experience supporting and/or engineering enterprise data center environments Broad experience with virtualized environments and technologies supporting enterprise computing capabilities Working knowledge and hands-on experience with some or all of the following: * Windows Server * VMware * System-level applications * Enterprise support toolsDemonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service across all organizational levels and in a variety of operational environments Proven experience troubleshooting complex: * Hardware issues * Software issues * Network-related problems * System access and authentication issuesExperience performing system maintenance activities, including: * Patching and updates * Configuration validation * Security-focused administrative tasks * Preventive maintenance activitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document: * Technical issues * Incident resolutions * Outages * Maintenance and operational activitiesAbility to work in compliance with applicable Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DoN) regulations, policies, and guidelines Ability to obtain and maintain all required baseline and technical certifications necessary to support contract requirements and customer support responsibilities Required Certifications Must obtain and maintain the baseline and technical certifications required by the contract/customer environment to support the applicable service desk or system support level.
