Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.

  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.

Work Experience
  • 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications in a large-scale retail or enterprise environment.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams, managed service providers, contractors, or third-party vendors.

  • Experience supporting Oracle Fusion ERP or comparable enterprise financial systems required.

  • Experience supporting Finance and Accounting business processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Financial Close activities.

  • Experience managing production support operations and IT service management processes in a 24x7 environment.

  • Experience with SOX compliance, IT General Controls (ITGC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), audit support, and security governance.

  • Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle EPM, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) preferred.

  • Experience leading hybrid onshore/offshore teams and implementing automation, observability, or AI-enabled operational capabilities preferred.

  • Retail industry experience preferred.

Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP applications, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax, Expense Management, and Subledger Accounting.

  • Working knowledge of Oracle EPM, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and financial reporting solutions.

  • Knowledge of corporate business applications, including security platforms, badge access systems, visitor management systems, workflow solutions, document management platforms, vendor management systems, and reporting tools.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise application integrations supporting Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Corporate Systems, vendor platforms, and enterprise reporting environments.

  • Experience managing enterprise application support organizations and managed service providers.

  • Strong knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service management principles and operational support best practices.

  • Experience developing and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service level Agreements (SLAs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), operational dashboards, and service health metrics.

  • Strong understanding of SOX controls, ITGC controls, audit requirements, access governance, and security compliance.

  • Experience with operational resilience, disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and production support governance.

  • Experience implementing automation, observability, proactive monitoring, analytics, and AI-enabled operational capabilities.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence across multiple business domains.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for application support teams responsible for enterprise Finance and Corporate business applications.

  • Own the operational health, availability, reliability, supportability, and performance of assigned enterprise applications.

  • Serve as the primary IT leader supporting assigned business functions and application portfolios.

  • Partner with business leadership to support critical operational processes, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial activities.

  • Manage the lifecycle of assigned enterprise applications, integrations, and supporting technologies.

  • Provide operational and administrative leadership for physical security systems, badge access solutions, visitor management systems, document management platforms, workflow solutions, compliance systems, vendor management systems, and related technologies.

  • Establish and maintain governance processes across incident, request, problem, change, release, and knowledge management functions.

  • Lead major incident management activities, including escalation response, cross-functional coordination, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

  • Define and track SLOs, SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance metrics.

  • Ensure application readiness and supportability for business-critical events and peak operational periods.

  • Manage strategic vendor and managed service provider relationships, including performance reviews, service commitments, contract renewals, and continuous improvement plans.

  • Oversee application releases, patches, upgrades, and production deployments, ensuring appropriate testing, change governance, production readiness, and post-implementation support.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX, ITGC, SoD, security governance, and audit requirements, including access reviews and maintenance of required compliance documentation.

  • Maintain application inventories, support documentation, operational runbooks, recovery procedures, and governance records.

  • Identify opportunities to automate operational activities and reduce manual support effort.

  • Drive the adoption of observability, monitoring, analytics, and AI-enabled support capabilities.

  • Utilize operational metrics and trend analysis to improve service quality, reduce incidents, and increase operational efficiency.

  • Lead, coach, and develop employees, contractors, and managed service resources through performance management, career development, succession planning, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

  • Support company initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.
