Love to Code Academy

Job description

Description
We grow kids, not just coders. - Youth Coding & Robotics Academy
Help more families discover that technology can build character.
Love to Code Academy is a youth character development academy. We use coding, robotics, and esports as an environment where kids practice teamwork, persistence, integrity, and leadership. Technology is the environment. Character development is the outcome.
We're looking for a Marketing & Business Development Lead who can carry that story into our community, building relationships with local leaders and influencers, while owning the follow-through that turns a trial class into an enrolled student.
This is a part-time, in-person role (15-20 hours per week), with after-school, evening, and occasional weekend hours.
Responsibilities
Community & Awareness (~6-8 hrs/week)
• Attend 4-6 community/networking lunches per month with local leaders - chambers of commerce, service clubs, scouting organizations - representing the academy with warmth and clarity.
• Build relationships with 4-6 local mommy bloggers/influencers per month through 1:1 lunches, opening new audiences, and generating authentic word of mouth.
• Use the time between scheduled meetings to set new appointments and identify upcoming lunch and event opportunities.
Enrollment Conversion (~8-10 hrs/week)
• Show up for and support trial classes and birthday events - the front door of our enrollment journey.
• Follow up with every trial family and birthday guest to move them from "we loved it" to enrolled.
• Own the full trial-to-enrollment pipeline, tracking every family from first visit through decision.
Qualifications
Who you are
• An experienced, confident presenter comfortable in front of community groups, parents, and youth organizations.
• A natural relationship-builder who can turn a lunch conversation into a lasting partnership.
• Organized and results-driven, with a track record of driving enrollments, sign-ups, or comparable conversions.
• Genuinely motivated by youth development - you believe kids should leave a program stronger in relationships, responsibility, purpose, and leadership.
• Comfortable managing multiple relationships and follow-ups at once without letting any fall through the cracks.
Why this role matters
Parents rarely enroll because they want their child to learn to code. They enroll because they want their child to grow. You'll be the person who helps them see that growth is exactly what we offer - and gives their child the chance to experience it firsthand.
