Enrollment Representative II

FLSA: Full time, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $21.19 - $25.42/hr

Position Summary

The Enrollment Representative II is responsible for performing employer group and member-level enrollment functions that involve increased complexity and require a strong understanding of enrollment processes, eligibility requirements, and system procedures. This position processes enrollment transactions, researches and resolves enrollment and eligibility discrepancies, maintains accurate enrollment records, and provides timely and professional service to internal and external customers. The role works collaboratively with internal departments to support enrollment accuracy, operational efficiency, and workflow continuity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process employer group and member level transactions, including group and COBRA enrollments, renewals, benefit changes, using Healthcare Process Automation (HPA) and manual processes, including setup and ongoing maintenance of groups, divisions, and Employer Portal access.
  • Resolve enrollment and eligibility discrepancies by reviewing documentation and system records and performing required system updates.
  • Respond to routine enrollment-related inquiries from internal and external customers and coordinate issue resolution as needed.
  • Monitor and coordinate enrollment section emails and voicemails to ensure timely follow up.
  • Track and maintain records of enrollment related transactions to support accuracy, follow up, and issue resolution.
  • File, organize, and maintain enrollment related documentation in accordance with record retention and documentation standards.
  • Provide backup support for core enrollment functions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Educations and Experience Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in enrollment, billing, healthcare administration, customer service, or a related health insurance function

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems

• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate, high-volume data entry in a production-oriented environment

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to review information, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues accurately within established guidelines

• Ability to learn, adapt to, and effectively use new systems, tools, and job-related processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree

• Experience processing employer group enrollments, renewals, benefit changes, and/or COBRA administration

This position offers the opportunity to work from home, subject to organizational policy, business needs, and manager approval.
