Location: Bedford, OH 44146

Position Type: Weekend and PRN

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team in Bedford, OH. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging activities and meaningful interactions. The role is primarily weekend and PRN (as needed) shifts, providing flexibility for candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and social activities for residents.
  • Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
  • Provide support and encouragement to residents during activities to foster participation and enjoyment.
  • Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to ensure activities meet the diverse needs and interests of residents.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment during all activities.
  • Document resident participation and report any concerns or observations to the supervisor.
  • Assist with set-up and clean-up of activity areas.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with seniors preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work weekends and on a PRN basis.
  • Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about enriching the lives of others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills are a plus.
