Job Overview
We are seeking a Communication Specialist (Spanish & English) to support our team in facilitating clear communication across departments. This role involves assisting with conversations between Spanish-speaking individuals and English-speaking staff or clients, ensuring that information is exchanged accurately and effectively.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a variety of communication needs, including calls and real-time support, while maintaining professionalism and cultural sensitivity. This position plays an important role in helping our organization create an inclusive environment where diverse groups can connect and collaborate successfully.

Duties

  • Handle client communications, respond to inquiries, and assist in resolving issues.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the client services/communications department.
  • Provide interpretation support to help staff understand client needs and concerns.
  • Review documents to ensure accuracy, proper terminology, and compliance with program directives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive client support.
  • Translate and transcribe information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while upholding ethical standards.
  • Stay informed on program requirements, directives, and objectives to ensure service quality.

Qualifications

  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English (both spoken and written); ability to translate and interpret with clarity and accuracy.
  • Strong English writing and editing skills with attention to detail and professionalism.
