Position Summary:
The High School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous instruction aligned with Georgia state standards. This role focuses on developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills while fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth and a love of literature.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Valid Georgia teaching certification in Secondary English Language Arts (6-12).
  • Strong knowledge of adolescent literacy development and instructional best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to integrate culturally responsive teaching practices.
