Job description

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring an English Language Teacher (ESL) to provide in-person lessons to our client in Weston.
Job Information:
  • Ref. # 199752. The student is an adult female who has recently relocated to Florida.
  • Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home in Weston, FL 33332 (near Manatee Bay Elementary School)
  • Preferred start date: ASAP

Details:
  • Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 10am to 12pm
  • Lesson Frequency and Duration: Three times per week, 1 to 1:30 hour per session
  • Current Spanish level: Intermediate
  • Native language: Portuguese
  • Student's language needs and goals: TOEFL preparation

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
  • Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes
  • Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
  • Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:
  • Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
  • Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
  • Minimum of two years of English (ESL) teaching experience
