You Will:
Childcare Voucher Eligibility Determination (50%)
- Sincerely help families applying for childcare assistance through interviews and document collection to determine eligibility
- Precisely complete intakes for Childcare Voucher Program by obtaining required documentation and calculating relevant financial data including parent co-pay and subsidy levels
- Diligently follow orientation procedures and facilitate to families regarding the rights, responsibilities and obligations of the program
- Carefully analyze family needs to identify any special circumstances that require additional assistance
- Maintain and follow wait-list procedures
- Evaluate opportunities with other site locations in an integrated support team approach to identify and connect families with the best resources
- Accommodate family needs and assist families in selecting appropriate providers, if requested
- Thoroughly maintain orderly and complete records on families receiving assistance; monitor the progress of parents in the job search process
- Precisely prepare, schedule and mail recertification letters
- You have a High School Diploma or GED
- Experience (paid, volunteer or internship) in greeting and interviewing a diverse population of customers in a service setting
- Associates or Bachelors' degree a plus
- Valid driver's license with valid insurance and no more than 6 points on driving record
