Hours:
4.125 hours per day = 8.25 hours per week.
2 evenings per week (Monday/Wednesday)
203 days per year
Pay:

Required Licensure:
Current MN Teaching Licensure: ESL K-12 or in process of gaining licensure.
Required Experience:
  • Knowledge of CASAS, SiD, CCR standards, ACES/TIF standards and Northstar Digital Literacy standards.
  • Experience teaching English to adult language learners from diverse educational, language and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Proven ability building relationships with students and staff. Experience utilizing volunteers in a classroom setting.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and ability to integrate digital learning platforms into instruction.
  • Knowledge of CANVAS a plus

Responsibilities:
Teach English to intermediate-level adults from around the world with varying levels of education. Participate in administering testing and regularly conference with students to discuss progress.
