ROLE OVERVIEW:
Knife River is currently seeking a qualified individual to install tracking devices and systems across our company fleet. This role also includes monitoring system functionality to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with Saturday as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)
  1. Proficiency with computers, tablets, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  2. Preferred experience with heavy equipment and construction vehicles (diesel and gasoline).
  3. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  4. Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  5. Familiarity with Samsara, Track-It, FleetWatcher, and FuelMaster is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (types and extent of knowledge, skills or abilities an incumbent must possess to complete the job responsibilities satisfactorily)
  1. Familiarity with Samsara, Track-It, FleetWatcher, and FuelMaster is preferred.
  2. Strong understanding of electrical systems, transmissions, and related equipment.
  3. Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  4. Skilled in the safe operation of hand tools and equipment.
  5. Mechanical aptitude and technical proficiency preferred.
