Job description

This position is for a site/civil engineer who is interested in both land development and dry utility design work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Directing work to Designers and Engineers in the preparation of civil engineering plans and construction documents
  • Design of storm water management facilities, storm drain, paving, water, sewer and sediment control plans
  • Assisting with dry utility design associated with site utility electric, natural gas, and telecommunication services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred, but not required
  • 0-2 years’ experience in civil engineering land development design; experience preparing storm drainage; storm water management plans; and erosion and sediment control plans
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or Microstation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
