You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NAVAL ARCHITECT) in the Engineering and Planning Department of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.Qualifications:
GS-09Your
resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- EXPERIENCE PREPARING AND REVIEWING TECHNICAL REPORTS, ESTIMATES, STATUS REPORT, INSTRUCTIONS, AND PROCEDURES.
- EXPERIENCE REVIEWING DESIGN DRAWINGS, MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS.
- EXPERIENCE INSTALLING AND TESTING OF EQUIPMENTS AND SYSTEM INVOLVED IN A SHIP'S DEPOT.
- EXPERIENCE COORDINATING WITH OTHER ENGINEERS AND ENGINEER TECHNICIANS.
- EXPERIENCE APPLYING KNOWLEDGE OF TECHNIQUES, PRINCIPAL, AND PRACTICES OF NAVAL ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY.
GS-07Your
resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- EXPERIENCE ASSITING IN PREPARING AND REVIEWING TECHNICAL REPORTS, ESTIMATES, STATUS REPORT, INSTRUCTIONS, AND PROCEDURES.
- EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING IN THE OF REVIEWING DESIGN DRAWINGS, MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS.
- EXPERIENCE AIDING IN INSTALLING AND TESTING OF EQUIPMENTS AND SYSTEM INVOLVED IN A SHIP'S DEPOT.
- EXPERIENCE ASSISTING WITH THE COORDINATION OF ENGINEERS AND ENGINEER TECHNICIANS.
- EXPERIENCE APPLYING KNOWLEDGE OF THE TECHNIQUES, PRINCIPAL, AND PRACTICES OF NAVAL ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY.
