Job description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Engineering Technician opportunities in Southington, CT. Responsibilities for an Engineering Technician include but are not limited to:

  • Perform research, build prototypes, and support the design/construction of test fixtures using basic Solidworks and drafting skills

  • Conduct mechanical device testing, validate test methods, perform data analysis (using basic Minitab/statistics), and present findings to leadership

  • Maintain lab equipment, manage sample and project inventory, and participate in 6S, lean manufacturing, and safety initiatives

  • Troubleshoot testing equipment, perform routine lab maintenance, and collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve technical issues

Candidates for Engineering Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • High School Diploma with 3-5 years of engineering technician experience, an Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related technical field

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, medical devices, Solidworks, Minitab, and lean/Six Sigma methods

  • Knowledge of standard engineering record-keeping, clean room environments, and QSSOPs/GMP/FDA/ISO 9001 standards

  • Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 25 lbs, and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Pay Details: $26.41 to $35.49 per hour
