Engineering Teacher
St. Rose High School - Belmar, New Jersey

St. Rose High School in Belmar, New Jersey is seeking a passionate and innovativeย Engineering Teacher to join our faculty. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with motivated students in a college preparatory environment rooted in the Catholic tradition and committed to the formation of the whole student.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence while helping students develop the critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem solving skills essential for success in engineering and related fields.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach engineering and STEM related coursework to students in grades 9 through 12
ย Design engaging, hands on learning experiences that promote inquiry, design thinking, and real world application
ย Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and innovation
ย Support the continued development and growth of St. Rose High School's engineering and STEM programming
ย Incorporate project based learning and interdisciplinary approaches when appropriate
ย Provide mentorship and guidance to students interested in pursuing engineering or STEM related careers
ย Collaborate with faculty and administration to advance the mission of the school and support student success






QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology Education, STEM Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
ย Prior teaching experience at the high school level preferred
ย Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to inspire and engage students through creative instruction and hands on learning
Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of St. Rose High School



Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching engineering curriculum or STEM related courses
Experience withย Project Lead the Way (PLTW) programs or similar engineering curriculum is a plus, but not required
