Goff Engineering and Surveying, Inc. is a Durango, CO based firm offering Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Land Surveying# Structural Engineer PE-2#### Structural Engineer PE-2We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer PE-2 level to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in structural analysis and design for building projects and is able to independently produce high-quality construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit under the general supervision of a senior engineer. This role is suited for an engineer with strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset who prefers a variety of projects in a multidisciplinary environment.The right candidate will be confident in managing tasks, mentoring junior staff, and engaging directly with architects, contractors, and clients throughout the design process.#### Responsibilities* Work within the structural team to produce Construction Documents for building structures using AutoCAD and Revit.* Coordinate with outside team members including architects and contractors to provide coordinated, efficient designs.* Establish project criteria and design requirements using the building code.* Perform self-directed analysis of building structures under the oversight of senior engineers.* Work on multiple projects simultaneously while providing responsive service to clients.* Be willing to direct and mentor junior design staff.* Perform QA/ QC of small projects as part of a final review process.#### Experience**Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering* 5-10 years of experience in the design of buildings and/ or structures* Familiarity with code requirements for structures* Design experience in wood, steel, and concrete* Candidate has PE licensure, or ability to get licensed as a PE in Colorado* Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience designing single and multi-family projects* Ability to take projects to completion with limited oversight* Desire to coordinate with architects and builders as the main point of contact* Experienced performing field assessments of existing structures and buildings* Familiarity with RISA design analysis software or similar#### Compensation**Pay:** $100k - $115k DOE (or hourly equivalent)#### BenefitsOur location in beautiful SW Colorado emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
