About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager oversees and coordinates the daily operations of highly skilled engineering staff while ensuring that company objectives and goals are met. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager also assists operators, technicians, design engineers, operations management, and project managers to ensure the timely manufacturing of Tate's product offerings delivering on Tate's brand promises. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager also provides guidance on the implementation of best practices to maximize energy efficiency and effectiveness.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of a customer-specific engineering team.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
  • Ensure team adherence to engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Support performance, workload balancing, and team efficiency across projects.
  • Serve as product owner and/or project engineer across multiple projects.
  • Develop project timelines, cost projections, and resource plans.
  • Create and review submittals, BOMs, part numbers, manufacturing drawings, and packing plans.
  • Utilize 3D modelling tools to maintain customer designs and support project requirements.
  • Assist in product testing, validation, and evaluation, including use of FEA tools.
  • Provide technical support to end users, architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors.
  • Evaluate construction specifications and recommend solutions aligned to project requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering, project management, and other stakeholders.
  • Support development of technical documentation and whitepapers.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, materials, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Additional Expectations
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting engineering projects, product development, or technical design.
  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure, server hardware, and cooling technologies preferred.
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools (e.g., SolidWorks, OnShape) required.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and influence team performance.
