Job description

Title: Mechanical Technician

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Duration: 5 Months Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $21.00-$27.00/HR on W2

Shift: First: Start – 6:00 AM Second: Start – 2:00 PM
Shift assignments may vary between the first and second shifts. Shift lengths can range from 8 to 10 hour,s depending on operational demand. Weekend work and overtime may be required based on business needs. Management will make every effort to accommodate preferred shift schedules; however, assignments are subject to change to support production requirements.
 

Mechanical Technician M1
WC Coverage:
Product assembly, basic mechanical modification, disassembly, shipment prep
Experience: 1–2 years in a related field
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Requirements:
Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
Basic understanding of technical drawings and schematics
Familiarity with basic troubleshooting techniques
Ability to use precision measuring instruments
Ability to follow step-by-step manufacturing instructions
Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
