L3Harris Corporation is seeking a Senior Specialist, Project Engineer (PE) (Level 4) for the Melbourne/Palm Bay, FL location.This is an opportunity to take on unique challenges, expand your skills and experience, and contribute to mission critical systems solutions that help protect the U.S.A. and our allies, both Domestic and Internationally. Essential Functions:

  • Conduct and lead Peer Reviews and Table-Top Reviews.

  • Work withthetechnical team toidentify, mitigate,and close program risks.

  • Serve as the technical lead of the project with cost and schedule responsibilities.

  • Develops, presents, and delivers comprehensive presentations to the project team,upper management, and customer personnel in a clear and concise manner.

  • Successful startup activity, including staffing, robust mitigation plans and establishment of the technical baseline and change management process.

  • Planning andmanagement of the products / projects on schedule and within budgetconstraints.

  • Monitors theproduct/project from initiation through completion and/or customeracceptance.

  • Develops,manages, andmaintainsall aspects of project-level risks, including mitigation, costing, and planning.

  • Establishment and execution of detailed integrated master schedules.

  • Develops, monitors, and statuses detailed MS Project schedules.

  • Uses Earned Value Management System (EVMS) reports to manage project performance.

  • Review of earned value metrics such as CPI, SPI, TCPI, and ETC to drive program focus.

  • Estimateresource and material needs for the project/product.

  • Ensures thatproducts/projects delivered meet customer requirements and specifications.

  • Employee engagement to meet project needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experienceexecuting throughout the project lifecycle including requirements flow down and allocation, design, development, test, and sell-off.

  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills in a technical informationenvironment.

  • Demonstrated Earnedvalue / Cost account management experience, with cost and scheduleresponsibility experience.
