The successful candidate is detail oriented with a “can do” attitude. The candidate can work in a team environment and has a passion for learning new things. Traditional office hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM; however, this role supports multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, so extended work hours are typical.


Reports to: Project Coordination Lead

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Support pre-coordination and project submittal preparation to cities, counties, and state agencies.
  • Follow up on city submittals, status on city portals, submittal tracking.
  • Assist with dry utility coordination and due diligence, compiling and gathering maps, as-builds, public records by accessing various city and county portals. Request utility maps, conduct conflict review, and follow-up on requests.
  • Assist with construction administration, including attending project meetings and acting as a liaison between design engineers and utility coordination.
  • Update weekly meeting reports and project tracking sheets.
  • Process agency comments/redline corrections from municipality portals.
  • Manage and maintain written correspondence.
  • Carry out administrative tasks such as reporting, filing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years prior experience with permitting and submittal preparations.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, surveys, right-of-way and easement maps, cost estimates, field notes, and property descriptions.
  • Team oriented attitude and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work individually with minimal supervision.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to investigate ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in project management processes and procedures including project management software. bqeCore and Smartsheet proficiency preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Committed to meeting deadlines.
