Job DetailsJob Location: Palm City, FL 34990PAC Seating Systems is a custom manufacturer of engineered and structural seating solutions for the business jet and VIP aerospace market. Founded in 2002 in Palm City, Florida, the company specializes in certified seating designed for private and business aviation

Primary Schedule: 4/10's

Position Overview:

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated program / projects to ensure that goals or objectives of program / projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties:

Essential Functions:
  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • Lead assigned programs from contract award through execution, delivery, and closeout
  • Establishes work plan for each phase of program / project
  • Confers with staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, and responsibilities
  • Monitors activities of program / project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
  • Is responsible for maintaining the Master Program schedule and presenting to customers when applicable
  • Ensure adherence to program baselines and manage change through formal change control processes
  • Reviews and distributes project reports for management, client or other stakeholders
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
  • Manages project activities with government regulatory or other agencies
  • Represents organization as a prime contact on assigned projects
  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
  • Travel may be required (up to 25%) to support customer engagements and program reviews
  • May require work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary to meet program objectives and deadlines.
QualificationsJob Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
  • Proven expertise in project planning methodology and leading a matrixed team through a project life cycle
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Capable of a high degree of initiative and proceeding in the absence of specific direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Able to work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative
  • Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be proficient with MS Project
  • Proven ability to improve Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPARS) scores
Education, Certifications, and Experience:
  • BA/BS in Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience to include project management
  • Proven experience managing cost, schedule, and risk
