Position at JAC Products
JAC Products has an opportunity for a Program Manager to join our team in either or Pontiac or Saline, MI office. In this position, you will have the opportunity to indirectly lead development teams to launch projects that deliver on customer expectations and milestones while achieving target budget for tooling, capital, testing, prototype and gross margin. You are also responsible for leading the teams on VA/VE and Engineering Changes. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to successfully launch programs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or other related field required; Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in Automotive Sales, Engineering or Operations Management; 2+ years of experience in Tier 1 Automotive Project/Program Management
  • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and exterior, Class A surfaces
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology - Assembly, Injection Molding, Roll Forming, Extrusion, Metal Forming and Machining (Fabrication), & Anodizing
  • Ability to build relationships and lead others through influence to meet customer demands and milestones
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
