Job Title: Agile Program Manager

Work Location: Boston, MA(3 Days Onsite)
Long Term Contract

  • Lead Agile Release Train (ART) planning, execution, and delivery across multiple Scrum teams, ensuring alignment to business priorities, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, risk management, and cross-team coordination to drive predictable program outcomes.
  • Track program health, delivery metrics, and impediments, providing executive-level reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • Asset Management Industry experience is required.

As a Senior Manager Agile Program Management serving as a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will be responsible for driving Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver value at scale.
You will facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, manage dependencies, and ensure seamless execution of Agile programs. Your leadership will enable teams to align with business objectives, optimize flow, and continuously improve Agile practices.

Your Impact

Lead Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure successful delivery of large-scale programs.

Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.

Manage and resolve cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments.

Drive Agile maturity by coaching teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners on SAFe best practices.

Establish and track key Agile performance metrics to improve predictability and delivery efficiency.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging Agile mindset adoption at all levels.

Collaborate with business and technology leaders to ensure strategic alignment and value delivery.

Implement Lean Portfolio Management principles to optimize funding and value streams.

Utilize Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps to manage program execution and reporting.

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Agile program management, with at least 5years in a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and facilitating PI planning.
  • Deep understanding of Agile metrics, flow optimization, and value stream management.
  • Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and impediments in a complex, enterprise-scale environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working with C-level executives.
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), or equivalent Agile certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
