Job description

Responsibilities

We are searching for highly qualified students from leading engineering schools who are interested in pursuing further education in civil engineering through the internship program available at Walter P Moore. As a civil engineering intern with our organization, you will work as a member of project teams responsible for designing a range of civil/land or site development projects, such as large and small-scale commercial and institutional developments.

Candidates should have a sound technical background and excellent communication skills.  Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Microstation is a plus.  You will have the opportunity to participate in our industry-leading, in-house staff development program.

A sound technical background and enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great civil/land or site development projects are required. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 40 college hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering of which at least 24 hours are engineering, physics or math related.
  • Written recommendation from a civil engineering professor
