Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time MEP Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP engineering, extensive knowledge of NYC design codes, and experience working with existing buildings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge MEP solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop comprehensive MEP systems for renovation projects, ensuring compliance with NYC building codes and regulations.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments of existing buildings to evaluate current MEP systems and propose upgrades or modifications.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations using industry-standard software tools.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project team members to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
  • Perform energy modeling and analysis to optimize building performance and achieve sustainability goals.
  • Develop cost estimates and equipment schedules for MEP systems.

  • Conduct quality control reviews of design documents and construction submittals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.

QualificationsRequired:
