Job description

Civil Engineer / Civil Designer

Our civil engineering and surveying firm in Snowflake, Arizona is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer/Civil Designer to join our team. We are looking for someone with experience in civil site design and drafting who enjoys working on a variety of development projects in a collaborative environment.

This position works closely with project managers and senior engineers on municipal, commercial, residential, and industrial projects from design through construction support. Responsibilities

· Prepare engineering drawings and design revisions using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

· Assist with the design of site development, grading, drainage, utility, and other civil engineering projects.

· Produce construction drawings, layouts, and engineering sketches.

· Work directly with project managers and engineers throughout the design process.

· Provide technical support to engineers and drafting staff as needed.

· Assist with surveying and construction inspections on an as-needed basis.

· Participate in team meetings and coordinate with project staff.

· Complete other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

· Minimum of 5 years of civil/site engineering experience (private sector experience preferred).

· Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

· Strong understanding of construction documents, site plans, profiles, and utility design.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

· Professional Engineer (PE) license.

· Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of employment.

· Associate degree or certificate in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD).
