Hargrove is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for multidisciplinary engineering and design teams supporting operating industrial facilities.What You'll DoAs an Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating engineering activities across electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, piping, civil/structural, process, and design disciplines. This role serves as a key interface between project teams and client leadership while ensuring engineering deliverables are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.Key responsibilities include:Provide technical leadership and day-to-day direction to multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.Coordinate engineering resources and project priorities across multiple projects and clients.Develop and support engineering execution strategies, work plans, schedules, and deliverables.Monitor engineering progress and proactively address technical, quality, resource, and schedule concerns.Serve as a trusted advisor and primary technical interface with client engineering and site leadership teams.Facilitate multidisciplinary technical reviews and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.Support QA/QC processes and promote consistency in engineering and design practices.Maintain continuity of engineering standards, plant databases, design history, and critical technical records.Lead knowledge transfer efforts and support onboarding of new engineering resources.Mentor engineers and designers while identifying development and training opportunities.Partner closely with project management, project controls, operations, maintenance, construction, and other stakeholders to drive successful project execution.Promote safe engineering practices and support continuous improvement initiatives.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Engineering.8+ years of relevant industrial experience.Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.Experience supporting operating chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing, pulp & paper, power, or other heavy industrial facilities.Strong understanding of engineering project execution within an operating plant environment.Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and complex resource demands.Strong working knowledge of engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, equipment databases, plant systems, and technical records.Proven client relationship and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication, coordination, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.Preferred StrengthsAbility to identify technical and resource gaps and implement practical solutions.Experience supporting engineering onboarding, workforce development, and technical knowledge transfer.Understanding of project schedules, budgets, engineering productivity metrics, and resource forecasting.Track record of collaborating effectively with engineering, operations, maintenance, construction, project management, and project controls teams.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs.Hargrove CultureWe work to create an environment founded on trust, personal integrity, and a “team mentality” so that each person understands the value of their contributions both on a project and company-wide level.
