Manager Of Engineering Maintenance

Franciscan Health Munster Campus

701 Superior Ave Munster, Indiana 46321

Patients, families, doctors, nurses everyone who enters a Franciscan Health facility trusts that the building is well maintained. They rely on that so that their focus is on health care not out of service utility services. Our Manager of Engineering Maintenance is responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

What You Can Expect
  • Coordinate maintenance functions with other departments.
  • Use work order system to assign work to maintenance staff and track work orders.
  • Assist with scheduled, non-scheduled, and emergency utility outages.
  • Assist in creation of procedures.
  • Assist with monitoring of compliance with regulatory agencies (State Department of Health, OSHA, NFPA, and current accrediting agency).
  • Coordinate/manage purchase orders for maintenance.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED - Required
  • Associate's Degree Engineering or related field - Preferred
  • 5 years Relevant engineering or construction field - Required
  • 5 years Relevant hospital maintenance or construction - Required
  • 10+ years Relevant hospital maintenance or construction - Preferred
  • Trade License - Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt - Preferred
  • Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) - American Hospital Association Certification Center - Preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute - Preferred

Travel is required: Up to 20%
