Our dynamic and successful Civil Design practice is seeking a civil design intern to join our team. This position would be based in our Fargo, ND or Bismarck, ND office. This group is responsible for providing design services for municipal streets and utilities, state and county highways, freeways, bridges, parks, trails, and related facilities. Looking towards the future? This position has the potential for full-time employment upon graduation from the respective accredited Civil Engineering program.


Responsibilities:

  • Works on routine tasks according to specific procedures under close supervision.
  • Assist design teams with the development of plans, reports, studies, and contract documents.
  • Prepare project cost estimates.
  • Perform field construction inspection services and assistance for survey crews.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Demonstrates cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team and as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrates emerging technical knowledge/creativity.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Bentley 3D design tools; BIM tool experience for infrastructure preferred.

Salary: $25.00/hr
