Job description

Engineering Support Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, update, ensure accuracy of and send customer acknowledgements for NRE sales orders
  • Manage balance between NRE sales orders and Quoted sales orders, investigate and resolve any discrepancies
  • Manage incoming and outgoing Engineering data files through FTP software to accommodate cross platform data sharing
  • Create engineering and tooling folders for new projects
  • Create, maintain, and regularly communicate action items and meeting minutes, both internally and externally as needed
  • Lead in the creation, development, review and updating of Engineering documentation - including but not limited to part specific work instructions, material and outsource specifications, SOPs, SWIs, TWIs
  • Support all process development and qualification activities on the manufacturing floor as needed
  • Populate/Update Work Requests (sample, inspection, etc.) as needed
  • Modify Inspection Plans as needed

Documentation Responsibilities:

  • Review customer part prints and specifications and assist Engineering and Quality departments to evaluate impacts to Donatelle
  • Create/assist with disposition of Document Change Orders (DCOs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
  • Schedule and all qualification related team meetings (Pre/Post MVR-OQ-PQ, etc.) and ensure all action items are completed prior to start of meeting
  • Manage completion and control of all Project Record Checklist documentation
  • Create electronic print mark-ups
  • Control electronic prints, specs, engineering development records, work instructions, machine databases (OGP, machine programs etc.) utilizing document control software
  • Create and update part specific Bill of Material (BOMโ€™s) and Inventory Items
  • Review and provide feedback on additional documentation. Examples: Material Contact Lists, Master Validation Plans, DMRs, Validation Protocols/Validation Reports, pFMEAs, Process Flows, etc. as needed
  • Ensure good documentation practices are being followed

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas within and outside of the engineering department
  • Participates in company audits as requested by department managers
  • Assist with Corrective and Preventative Actions as requested by department managers and other TMAโ€™s
  • Schedule/coordinate meetings as needed
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned
  • Follow safety requirements as outlined in the safety manual
  • Responsibility to protect Donatelle confidential information and Intellectual Property

Education/Experience:

  • Associates degree in related field โ€“OR- 2 year technical degree in a related fieldย OR
  • 3-5 yearโ€™s experience in the injection molding/medical component/device manufacturing industry

  • Computer skills: (Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, internet, etc.)
