Basic Function

The qualified candidate will overseehyper-scale data center projectsfrom site due diligence, campus planning, conceptual/schematic/detailed design through construction documents, and construction administration. The ideal candidate has experience managing the design of colocation and hyper-scale data centers, has a background in electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering, and possessesexceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead data center due diligence and design teams to deliver projects that meet the clientโ€™s requirements, on schedule and to a high degree of quality. Design disciplines will include architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, fire protection, ICT, and BMS/EPMS.
  • Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans.
  • Host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage and communicate change throughout the project
  • Identifyproblems early and develop creative solutions.
  • Proactively communicate with all stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Develop technical and financial proposals for new and add/move/change data center design projects
  • Develop trusting relationships with client stakeholders/buyers
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • 10+years of relevant experience ordemonstratedequivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experiencewith data center design management & engineering
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Active or recent leadership in data center and mission-critical trade organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in dynamic
  • Team leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Location: Redwood City, CA; San Diego, CA; Denver CO; Texas.

Base Pay - $140,000-$190,000

The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarksโ€”while ensuring internal parity across our teams. In addition to competitive base pay, total compensation may include a discretionary annual bonus and a market leading comprehensive health and wellness benefits package.
