Job description

Position Summary:

The Junior Sales Engineer is an entry-level technical sales professional responsible for supporting the sales team in promoting and selling engineered products or technical solutions. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering who are interested in combining technical expertise with customer engagement and business development. The Junior Sales Engineer will work closely with senior sales engineers, engineering teams, and customers to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions. This position includes a base salary and commission package.
Responsibilities:
  • Support senior sales engineers in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals, quotes, and product presentations
  • Engage with customers to understand technical needs and application requirements
  • Provide product demonstrations and explain technical specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate solution design
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical clarification
  • Assist in managing customer accounts and maintaining CRM documentation
  • Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events
  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities
  • Support contract negotiations and order processing
