Summary:
We are seeking a senior mechanical engineer for our Beaverton office who will work with a competent multi-discipline team of peers with a wide range of experience levels.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design for mechanical and process systems ranging from simple to complex. Types of design can include mechanical facility upgrades for semiconductor manufacturing plants, process piping and exhaust, hydronic systems, facility HVAC, and tool installation packages.
โ€ข Coordination with design team members, both in mechanical/process and other disciplines.
โ€ข Participation in client design review meetings and presentation of design strategies.
โ€ข Preparation of P&ID drawings for various systems, construction specifications, sequence of operations, testing documents, and engineering reports.
โ€ข Services during construction, including field verification, site observation reports, responses to RFIs, and submittal reviews.
Job Requirements
โ€ข Understanding of basic building code requirements.
โ€ข Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
โ€ข Excellent technical writing ability.
โ€ข Highly organized.
โ€ข Must show ownership and follow-through on assigned projects.

โ€ข Ability to learn quickly and grasp new concepts, especially as they relate to engineering and construction.

Education and Experience:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
โ€ข At least 7 years of experience working for an architectural/engineering (A/E) consulting firm.
โ€ข Experience with advanced technology and industrial clients is preferred.
โ€ข PE registration is preferred.
Please identify any relevant skills you might have, such as AutoCAD or Revit, or mechanical system modeling software such as PIPE-FLO, Trane Trace, Autodesk CFD, or AutoPIPE. Please provide any past work or volunteer experience in your response, including those that may be non-engineering related.
