) MADO Healthcare Uptown is hiring for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA)
The PRSA plays a key role in supporting residents with serious mental illness or psychosocial challenges by assisting with the delivery of psychosocial rehabilitation services. This role helps residents achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life through structured support, goal setting, and participation in therapeutic programming.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in delivering psychiatric rehabilitation services as outlined in individualized service plans
  • Support residents in developing life skills, social skills, coping mechanisms, and wellness routines
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate group and one on one psychoeducational and recreational activities
  • Provide behavioral cues and redirectrion as needed in alignment with individual behavior plans
  • Document resident participation and progress in accordance with state and facility standards
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor resident needs and communicate concerns
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment that encourages participation and growth
  • Transport or accompany residents to community outings or appointments when applicable
  • Adhere to all HIPAA, safety, and infection control policies

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience working with individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or in a behavioral health or long-term care setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to work in a structured therapeutic environment
  • Abililty to document clearly and follow care plans
  • Must pass background check and meet all facility and state employment requirements

Preferred:
  • Associate's degree or coursework in psycology, social work, or a related field
  • Completion of a certified Psycosocial Rehabilitation Aide training
  • CPI, First Aid/CPR Certification
