PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Have a positive attitude and committed to continuous improvement and success of the organization
  • Communicate effectively with manager & other maintenance associates on tasks performed
  • Interact with engineers, production, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
  • Program PLCs and computers to make equipment safer, faster or more efficient.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical panels, equipment, and systems.
  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities.
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Research new engineering projects for payback and feasibility.
  • Create bills of material for projects.
  • Train maintenance technicians and department heads as necessary.
  • Use Auto Cad to create electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by achieving results
