In this pivotal role, you'll provide technical guidance and mentorship while leading the design of mechanical systems for healthcare projects, ensuring that our work meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
With 4+ years of progressive technical experience, you will play a crucial role in assisting Project and Client Managers, aligning projects with clients' needs and budgets across diverse sectors, including private, public, and federal projects. Your expertise will enable you to collaborate closely with architects, electrical engineers, structural experts, and various disciplines, delivering innovative solutions that make a real difference to our local and regional clients.
Key Required Skills:

Responsibilities
Would be expected to provide the following to others on the design team to effectively and successfully complete projects:
  • Technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work involving mechanical engineering.
  • Technical training and development of staff.
  • Establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for mechanical discipline area.
  • Engineer of Record.
  • Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates.
  • Coordination with all of the disciplines involved, including outside consultants.
  • Technical interface with code officials and contractors.

Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity (example through Comity) within the State in which the position is posted within six (6) months.
  • Accomplished mechanical engineer
  • 4+ years of progressive technical experience in the design of mechanical systems for healthcare projects
